Hattori Hanzo Shears Educator Daniel Bacon:
The Hattori Hanzo HH1 Kamikaze is part of Hanzo’s high-carbon shears family. We developed the HH1 for dry hair with a strong emphasis on dry slide cutting. What sets the Kamikaze apart from the rest of the high-carbon line is the exaggerated bevel arc on the blade. Crafted with a very wide blade, the HH1 pushes through thick, coarse dry hair. And because the design of the Kamikaze emphasizes pushing hair through as the scissor closes–this shear will not cut a sharp line. The HH1 is perfect for the stylist who does a lot of dry finishing work and dry detail work such as channel cutting, slide cutting, carving, face-framing, and point cutting. The Kamikaze is especially useful for curly-haired clients because stylists do not usually cut sharp lines in dry hair–and many stylists cut curly hair dry. The HH1 is adept at layering and texturizing hair as well as blending extensions. The HH1 Kamikaze comes in two different versions: 6.0” and 6.5” in length.
By far one of the best shears I’ve purchased, couldn’t be happier! Best shear company around, much love for the amazing shears
I recently demo'd a set of these. In our shop we do a TON of fades and very detailed tapers. These shears are great for cleaning a clipper blend or even knocking out bulk around the ridge. I will for sure be adding these to my collection soon.
Love love this shears oh my god it’s cuts like butter I have owned other shears from reputable companies but this one is the best cut so smooth I was dancing all around the salon when I cutting my client hair she wanted to know what happen to me then I had her cut piece of my hair with it she was amazed how smooth it was,she tipped me double the amount she normally does and thank me for using such quality shears on her
Game changer indeed.
