The Stay Sharp Program is a 12-month service contract for $156.00 (plus applicable tax), paid over 12 equal payments of $13 (plus applicable tax). No cancellations prior to completion of the service agreement.
A $13 (plus applicable tax) payment will be made on the date of activation to initiate the Program enrollment. Monthly payments are processed each month thereafter based on your date of enrollment. The Program auto-renews every year unless you opt out of the auto renewal before the yearly anniversary date of enrollment.
In the event that the credit card on file is declined at the time of payment for any reason, we will make every attempt to contact you for new payment information. If after 60 days from the payment due date we have not obtained a proper payment, as well as new payment information from you, you will no longer be eligible for any of the program benefits and you will be charged full retail price for any services previously rendered.
Four sharpenings, a $172 value, are automatically credited to your account at the initiation of the Program and upon subsequent auto-renewal of the contract. Hattori Hanzo Shears will sharpen any brand of shear for the service contract. Hattori Hanzo Shears reserves the right to deny sharpening any shear based on age, quality and condition.
Hattori Hanzo Shears does not guarantee that every Program member will always have an area representative to facilitate sharpenings. If you do not have a local representative, you may contact the Hattori Hanzo Customer Service Department to place a sharpening order and request loaner shears to be mailed to you to use during the sharpening process. Hattori Hanzo Shears will issue a complimentary postage-paid shipping label with tracking for the sharpening, but loaner shears are subject to a shipping cost of $6 for one shear or $8 for two shears. Model and length of loaner shears subject to availability. In the event that loaner shears are not returned to Hattori Hanzo Shears within 21 days of receiving your sharpened shears, Hattori Hanzo Shears, Inc. reserves the right to charge Program member retail cost of the demo in the form of a 10% down payment and the remainder ammitorized equally over 6 remaining payments.
After 12 months, and upon completion of payment terms, a $100 credit will be issued to the account. This $100 credit will be good towards a new Hattori Hanzo Shear purchase and not valid towards any other products. Only one valid credit per order. Such credit must be used within 45 days of the date the credit is issued. The credit may be gifted to another person who must also use the credit within 45 days from the original date of issuance.
Stay Sharp Members get complimentary access to open-to-the-public Look & Learn cutting classes of $50 value or less, excluding fundraising events.
* Stay Sharp Inshearance® Warranty: Program members will enjoy the added benefit of warranty coverage for lost, stolen or damaged shears for all registered Hattori Hanzo shear purchases.
LOST OR STOLEN SHEARS: Only one claim for lost or stolen shears may be submitted per year. Customer must file a police report and provide a valid claim number with warranty replacement request. A $150 (plus applicable tax) replacement cost per lost or stolen shear will be charged to the customer prior to shipment of any replacement shears.
DAMAGED SHEARS: Only two claims for damaged shears may be submitted per year. The damaged shear must be sent to Hattori Hanzo for inspection before a claim can be approved. Once approved, a $150 (plus applicable tax) replacement cost per shear will be charged to the customer prior to shipment of any replacement shear. All replacement shears will be of lie-kind and quality. No other products or accessories are covered under the program. Hattori Hanzo Shears reserves the right to deny any claim and to fully investigate any claim of lost, stolen or damaged shears.

Perfect Fit in Hand, Perfect Balanced
I love the fit in my hands. They literally feel instantly like an extension of my hand. Hikari’s do not, Joewell do not. They do not hold an edge as well as I like, but whatever. The 6” and 6.5 are my favorite. The support has been very good as well. Their in salon rep “training” is a waste of time. A cocky barber lying about how much he/she makes while not sharing techniques is not training. But the shears are great.
Nolan is the best shear guy!!! If you are in the Florida panhandle I highly recommend Nolan at Hanzo Shears!
