Ashly Rose started her career in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2005, focusing on editorial and film styling. She ran the hair and makeup department of a modeling agency. After moving to Seattle in 2006, Ashly focused more on special event styling and took those skills to NY, specifically weddings. When she moved back to Florida in 2010, she took a job behind the chair and put an editorial on the back burner, and fell in love with education and the business of hair. Ashly opened her first salon, Dollface Hair Refinery, in Ormond Beach, Florida, in 2014 and set up an apprenticeship program, grooming new hires directly out of school to create a talented, well-balanced team. She spends her time cultivating a culture-specific to her salon, where all aspects of hair meet fun and an atmosphere where anyone is accepted and welcome. She’s opening The Men’s Refinery in February of 2018, which will also be in Ormond Beach. Ashly’s dedication to creating passion in other stylists has led her to pursue education opportunities outside of the salon, including Keratin Complex and a public speaking platform based on creating a business culture. Everything Ashly does is done with enthusiasm and passion for this industry that is hard to find. She lives for hair and lives for creating that fire in other stylists, established and new to the industry- and everyone in between.
