THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE ANNA: Ambitious, Passionate, Empathetic
At first, Anna was working at a hair salon where nobody was passionate about their careers. She worked there for about three years and thought she didn’t want to do hair anymore because the energy was low. There were no opportunities for growth, so Anna quit to become a stay-at-home mom, a few months later, Anna made an appointment at a hair salon to get her hair done, and she fell in love with the salon. The energy, the stylists, everything. Anna told the owner, and he offered her a job on the spot. Anna started working on Saturdays and quickly went to full time. The salon had every opportunity for growth. There was passion, education, great energy, and her passion for hair was revived!! They invested in her, and Anna took every opportunity she could to move forward and be the best stylist She could be. Anna started realizing her niche–short hair!! Anna does all kinds of hair and loves it all, but there’s just something about detailing the shorter hair that she loves! Which brought her to the following newly discovered passion.
Men’s cuts! Anna has always done Men’s cuts but never loved them. She wanted to do Men’s cuts like the guys that walk out of barbershops, so Anna contacted Patrick Burke in Cleveland, Ohio, to come to Boston to teach her his ways. Since he is a Hattori Hanzo educator, all she had to do was contact her Hanzo rep Steve Cuoco, and it was a done deal! Patrick came to her salon about two months later and taught many classes that Anna learned so much. The seamless refining work is something that Anna enjoys! Anna now owns her own studio and feels so blessed to have all the clients that she has. Her relationships with her clients are so vital to her. It’s all about the experience for them. She always tries to make it one they always want to come back to, and they always do!
