HH88T1 – Eighty Eight Texturizer
We developed the HH88T1 with 14 angled 1/8th-inch teeth to remove approximately 55 percent of hair. If you’re a fan of the Hanzo Eighty-Eights series handles, then this texturizer is a “must-have” in your kit.
HH88T2 – Eighty Eight Texturizer
We developed the HH88T2 with 23 angled teeth to remove approximately 65 percent of hair. If you’re a fan of the Hanzo Eighty-Eights series handles, then this texturizer is a “must-have” in your kit.
HH88T3 – Hanzo 88 Series

HH88L – Left Handed Texturizer
This is the left-handed version in a 5.5″ length. We craft the HH88L from a specialized high-carbon Japanese stainless steel and this shear features dual removable tangs, straight handles, and a tried-and-true zero-offset ring configuration.

And while the offset may be zero, the finger positioning for the HH88 series is still highly ergonomic, with a distinctively molded ring shape for much more comfortable finger placement. Premium High-Carbon Japanese Stainless Steel
The materials used in this shear are the best of the best. We don’t settle for anything less around here! The high carbon steel will ensure that this shear lasts you a long time and won’t have to be sharpened nearly as often as others. The Steel used in this shear is also great because it will work with wet and dry hair.

Because of the premium high-carbon steel, hair professionals can use the shear both wet and dry hair. The shear cuts through hair incredibly smooth and precise because of the sharpness of the blade. Dry haircutting with this shear is fantastic as well!
Dual Removable Tangs
We designed this line with dual removable tangs to customize it to the hair professional. If you love the double tang, you can leave them both on; if you want to have one tang, you can adjust your shear accordingly. Also, both tangs can come off if you don’t like to have them on the shear. The great thing about this shear series is that it’s entirely customizable for the professional.
Ergonomic Ring Configuration
In the cosmetology world, ergonomics is essential. The amount of strain put on hands, wrists, neck, and back can be strenuous and cause significant damage to the body over time. We had that in mind when designing this shear. Not only is it lightweight, but it has an ergonomic ring configuration to keep the wrist in the correct position and prevent injury.
Counter-sunk Locking Tension Control
Tension on shears can get in the way, pull hair, and cause other issues. We noticed the struggles of tension getting in the way and designed our shears to have countersunk tension. Our tension stays out of the way because the tension plate is built into the shear.
Screw-in bumper
We designed the shear series with a screw-in bumper just like the rest of our shear lines. We love the feature of the screw in the bumper because it allows the shear to be fully disassembled and cleaned. Another reason the screw in bumper is excellent is if the bumper is damaged for any reason, it can easily be removed and replaced.
