Description

The Hattori Hanzo HH6LS Kime Swivel—a staple for swivel enthusiasts in Hanzo’s high-carbon line—strongly emphasizes its dry-cutting properties. Considered one of the most versatile shears in Hanzo’s lineup, the HH6 series efficiently cuts dry hair and allows stylists to cut exquisite sharp lines on wet hair. The edges of the HH6S have a slightly more exaggerated radius to facilitate peeling hair using techniques like channel cutting and slide cutting. This shear will not tear hair like other shears when performing these techniques. The Kime Swivel was developed with an ergonomic handle and an offset swivel thumb to give the user more control and comfort while cutting.

This model is also available in a right-handed version.

Countersunk locking tension control

Countersunk locking tension control enables stylists and barbers to readily adjust and control the amount of tension or tightness between the blades of the shears. This feature is important for maintaining the performance and longevity of the scissor, as well as ensuring clean and efficient cuts. It allows users to tailor the tool’s performance to specific cutting tasks and materials.

Screw-in bumper

This feature is designed to absorb shock or impact and protect the shears from damage during use. It is often found on the pivot area of the shears, where the two blades meet and interact.

Shock Absorption

The screw-in bumper absorbs the shock that occurs when the blades of the shears come together during cutting. It reduces the stress and wear on the blades and pivot point.

Leverage Protection

Hanzo’s screw-in bumpers prevent chipping or dulling of the blade edges by blunting the impact. This is especially important when cutting especially hard, abrasive, or dry hair types.

The World’s Best Dry-Cutting Shears
