Sharpening of shears

The shears I sent to get sharpened came back excellently sharpened ! They have a nice and sharp edges, and cut very smoothly ! I’m very happy with the job that was done ! Armando was very nice, courteous, knowledgeable, very professional, and helpful ! Thank you very much for a great experience !

Lost

Sent my shears to get sharpened with an in person representative. A different representative reached out to let me know first one was no longer with the company and they would have to ship my shears. It was fine until day of delivery and my shears never made it to me, even when marked as delivered. It’s been two weeks and not only have I not gotten much help with USPS, but I shouldn’t have to be the one looking for my package when it never made it to me. Super upset and now have to spend ~$1,500 for a new set. Not sure I will be using these services again. Still unsure how to get the borrowed shears back to the representative, plus now I have no other cutting shears to use other than the ones borrowed to me.

Sharpening of shears

Jay from Hanzo made this experience seamless. He sent my shears off to be sharpened and brought them back to the shop I work at when they were returned to him. Jay lent me a pair of 6” shears to use and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of using a longer shear. Love this service!

From the moment of purchase the customer service is exceptional. The product is amazing and speaks for itself but the service 100% drives it home! Wholeheartedly recommend.

6 shear case

The case quality is nice. I have 5 hanzo shears and the hanzo razor in it and the flap that covers the top of the shears seems bulky and I have a hard time closing it.

Overall, my experience with David was fine. However, the scissors themselves seem a bit overrated. They are sharper, yes, but when slide cutting they still tend to pull. I even asked around, and some of my coworkers who also had their Hanzos sharpened noticed the same thing.
