Description

The HHCWL is one of the most recent additions to the Hattori Hanzo Shears high-carbon shear family. Designed with the barber in mind, the shear features a reduced blade radius, making it easier to cut straight lines and minimize pushing. As a high-carbon shear, it can be used for both wet and dry cutting. It also features a thicker blade with a sword-like ridge that helps maximize cutting through even the densest hair types. Available in both 7.0″ and 7.5″ lengths, the HHCWL is ideal for techniques like shear-over-comb, blunt cutting, and deep point cutting. The ergonomic handle is equipped with ring holes that are slightly smaller, reducing the need for sizers. With the ability to tackle anything thrown its way, the HHCWL will make short work of significant transformations and always performs when time is of the essence.

Countersunk locking tension control

Countersunk locking tension control enables stylists and barbers to readily adjust and control the amount of tension or tightness between the blades of the shears. This feature is important for maintaining the performance and longevity of the scissor, as well as ensuring clean and efficient cuts. It allows users to tailor the tool’s performance to specific cutting tasks and materials.

Screw-in bumper

This feature is designed to absorb shock or impact and protect the shears from damage during use. It is often found on the pivot area of the shears, where the two blades meet and interact.

Shock Absorption

The screw-in bumper absorbs the shock that occurs when the blades of the shears come together during cutting. It reduces the stress and wear on the blades and pivot point.

Leverage Protection

Hanzo’s screw-in bumpers prevent chipping or dulling of the blade edges by blunting the impact. This is especially important when cutting especially hard, abrasive, or dry hair types.
