Taking too long
I still haven’t received my shears and my loner pair were dull. Not a great experience so far but first time. Interesting I’m getting this review before I even got my shears back
Semi satisfied
My sheets are decently sharpened but not that impressive, and the tension setting is too tight, the sheets squeak when closing the blade
Slightly disappointed
I had 3 of my shears sent off to be sharpened which I haven’t received back yet. The reason I am disappointed is myself and multiple other coworkers are upset about the replacement loaner shears. None of them work. Very dull, and the texturing shears hardly cut the hair. We are forced to used these in the meantime, I would like to see better loaners the next time around. Thank you!
Inconsistent service
I’ve purchased 6 shears now and I’m highly dissatisfied with the inconsistency of service, one of the primary reasons I invested in Hanzo shears. I’ve had 3 reps since my initial purchase and Lisha is by far the most professional and pleasant rep I’ve dealt with. The first two were questionable to say the least. Because a new rep was finally available to me and my interactions with Lisha were what I expected from Hanzo’s customer support I purchased my 6th and final product from Hanzo as I learned that I will again be left with very expensive shears and promises of support and service I will not get. Why do you ask me to buy into a plan to sharpen my shears more than once a year?!?!? What that told me is I’ve been scammed into paying $700+ for shears worth $50-$100 and that your proprietary shears can be sharpened by anyone I choose as the promise of support and service are fake too. I actually love my shears and I understand how to take care of them so only after nearly two years did I consider sharpening them and only because Lisha reached out to me and made me rethink my decision to walk away from Hanzo as I finally had a qualified professional customer service representative available to me. As I said, I like the shears, but I paid for the service and the product. Last time I make this mistake. I’m fairly confident I won’t need to replace any of my shears anytime soon but if I do, it will not be from Hanzo.
I love them! Can't wait to buy more of them! I will recommend them for any stylist out there!
